panic attack

In the lab, waiting to be called back for my E2. Started having lots of ewcm yesterday. Now, I know it is from the rise in estrogen, but I'm still having panic attacks that I'm ovulating/have ovulated on my own. I need reassurance! And my appt is later this am. Anyone have any stories?

Hi there, hope you get this message to rest your mind a little. Are you on any other drugs to prevent ovulation? this is basically a guarantee that you won't ovulate until you trigger. The EWCM is a very very good sign that menas you are progressing in the right direction. No need to worry and I'm sure your scan will go just fine. Love, Fran

I had the exact same thing this month, and I know for a fact I didn't o until july 28 (my er). Cervical fluid can mean nothing, it's not the most reliable way to tell :) don't worry, you will be fine! And your re will know if you have a surge on your own!

I HOPE you don't have the problem I did, which was that I ovulated in spite of the antagonist that was supposed to keep it from happening. When I asked about the EWCM, they ran progesterone levels and found out what had happened. So, canceled cycle.

For the next cycle, my antagonist was doubled, and it all worked like a charm -BFP, and I saw a tiny heartbeat this morning...

Good luck!

Hi!

I'm currently panicking about exactly the same thing!

And I had bloods today which told me my LH is raised... :(

Glad to hear it worked out ok for you!

Xanax is known to be an FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) approved medicine for treating panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, anxiety related to depression et al and further details on Xanax info make it apparent that xanax is meant for short term treatment of anxiety.
