today

I'm posting from my cell phone! (And feeling very much the techie). Waiting for the dh to get off work, I decided to hang out at Starbucks for a bit with an iced coffee.

Well, everything went well today. Lot's of potential little follicles on the U/S and having the u/s while af was around wasn't the WORST thing in the world.

Estradiol--32
FSH--5
Starting follistem dose 100 units.

Now I just have to dial up the dose and shoot myself up! Hopefully, I don't mess it up too badly. :)

But first, dh and I are going to see Harry Potter tonight.

I was very nervous starting my first injectables cycle. My pharmacy offers a video and I watched it at least three times, and then had it on my computer right next to me while I did it.

It's definitely not as bad as I feared, and it gets easier with ever shot.

Good luck!

The first one always is the hardest, but once you get past the initial "sticking yourself with a needle" it's not bad, I promise! Follistim has been the easiest injection for me so far, hard to screw it up! Go here if you want to see a tutorial:

Good Luck!

I love the Follistim pen - definitely the easiest of the injectables (I'm pretty sure I've used them all.) In the beginning, I would follow along with the online video, double checking each step. After a while I could just jab it in while the shower water was heating up.

Good luck!
